By whom I am loved I do not know

By my friends, family, strangers, God?

Who is out there that can tell me?

 

I try to imagine that people care

For who would care that is the question

Do teh people close to me care for who I am?

Do I go day to day for no reason?

 

I wonder if I leave if I will be missed

Will people suffer from my absence?

Does my life matter to anyone?

Does my presence linger when I walk away?

 

I wonder when I die if I will go

If I will really leave forever

Or will my memory linger on someone?

Will someone remember who I was?
